Casuarina police are investigating the stealing of a white Fiat Ducato Camper van that occurred at approximately 6pm on Friday 4th June 2010.

A 69 year old male tourist from Cairns parked his Queensland registered 653JRJ Fiat Ducato Camper van at Casuarina free beach car park at approximately 2:30pm. Upon his return at 6pm he noticed his vehicle missing.

The total value of the van is approximately $100,000 and has all of the victim's possessions in the van leaving him with nothing but a pair of football shorts and a beach towel.

The van is described as being in good condition, white in colour with a red AVAN logo written on the sides, and has a black bull bar.

Police would like to speak to any persons in the area at the time that may have seen this vehicle or it being driven from the area
