Police attended an inner city hotel early this morning after receiving a report of a series of unlawful entries and stealing incidents at the premises.

It is alleged that sometime between midnight and 1:00am this morning an unknown male has entered two rooms at a hotel on Mitchell Street and stolen approximately $20 000 worth of property.

The following items were stolen:

a light blue Holden Commodore - NT registration 912 908;
$460 in cash;
bank cards;
three mobile phones; and
keys for the vehicle and the rooms.

Police urge anyone who may have witnessed the incidents, or who may have further information, to contact them on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
