Police, Fire and Rescue and St John Ambulance attended the scene, which is approximately 10km from the Daly Waters Hotel, shortly after 9:00am.

A third man has been transported to Katherine hospital.

No further information is available at this stage.

Meanwhile, investigations are continuing into two separate accidents in Alice Springs and Laramba in which two women died

"It has been a tragic past 48 hours on our roads," Territory Duty Superintendent Louise Jorgensen said.
