Police are calling for public assistance after a series of motor vehicles were interfered with over the long weekend.

Police received reports of 16 vehicles interfered with in Stuart Park, Charles Darwin National Park, Millner, Darwin City, Bakewell, Casuarina Beach, Brinkin, Coconut Grove, Tiwi and the Airport.

Anyone with information, or who witnessed anyone acting suspiciously in these areas, is urged to call 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
