Methamphetamine and Cannabis arrest - Palmerston

Police



Members from the Special Operations Section executed a search warrant at the man's residence and located a total of 11.64 ounces of Cannabis Oil, 25 grams of cannabis, cannabis seeds and three grams of methamphetamine.

The man was charged with:
Possess cannabis oil in a commercial quantity
Possess methamphetamine in a trafficable quantity
Possess cannabis
Possess cannabis seeds

The man received bail and is due to appear at the Darwin Magistrates Court on 13 October.

A 32-year-old female who was also at the residence received a Drug Infringement Notice for the possession of cannabis located in her handbag.

"Based on what cannabis oil sells for in Adelaide and Brisbane, we estimate the street value could have reached up to $60,000 if sold in Darwin" Detective Senior Sergeant Peter Malley said.
