Armed Robbery - Malak

Casuarina Detectives have arrested a 29-year-old woman in relation to an armed robbery at a service station in Malak today.

The woman is alleged to have entered the shop just prior to 11:00 am when she implied she had a knife and demanded money from the attendant. It is alleged the female attendant opened the cash register allowing the woman to remove an amount of cash before fleeing in a blue Holden Commodore.

Police arrested the woman at her Wagaman house a short time later and recovered an amount of the stolen money.

Detectives are extremely interested in speaking with a male person was seen shop at the same time.

The offender is currently in police custody and is expected to be charge with aggravated robbery later today.
