The 29-year-old offender was one of two men depicted in CCTV footage assaulting a 30-year-old Security Guard working at a Northern Suburb Supermarket.

The man in custody struck the guard to the face with a glass bottle of alcohol. The offenders left the store with three bottles of alcohol.

The offender has been charged with the following offence:
* Robbery in Company
