Police are investigating the suspicious death of a man at a unit in Sadadeen last night.

Police were alerted to the incident at about 9:30 pm after occupants of unit found the man with a stab wound to his leg.

St John Ambulance attended the scene however the 50-year-old victim was deceased upon arrival.

A 35-year-old woman is currently in police custody assisting with investigations.

Members of the Regional Investigations Division are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.

Police are calling for anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area between 9:30pm and 10:30pm last night to come forward. Anyone with information is urged to phone police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
