Police attended the airport late Wednesday morning to conduct a liquor search on passengers arriving on a flight from Darwin.
Whilst searching baggage, Officers located a suspicious looking package. Upon further inspection they located 40 clip seal bags containing cannabis plant material hidden within mince meat.
Further searches revealed a shampoo bottle containing packages of cannabis submerged in its contents.
A 19-year-old man and a 16-year-old female were subsequently arrested.
After further investigations a 59-year-old female was also found to be involved in the supply of cannabis.
All three will appear in the Maningrida Court at a later date.
The total amount seized was 151 grams with an estimated street value of approximately $15,100.
