Update # 5 – Emergency Telephone Hotline

The Region 1 Counter Disaster Controller has made the determination to stand up an Emergency Telephone Hotline for all information and enquiries relating to Tropical Cyclone Carlos.



The free hotline number is: 1800 888 901



The public is urged to call this hotline if they have any issues or require assistance.





For road conditions people are urged to call 1800 246 199


For fallen power lines people are urged to call 1800 245 090


To report fallen trees call the Emergency Telephone Hotline on 1800 888 901


The Survey and Rescue effort of the Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services is ongoing. Residents are asked to be patient, heed all warnings and stay off the roads if road travel is not necessary.



People are reminded to tune in to their local ABC radio and check updates from the Bureau of Meteorology at www.bom.gov.au
