Category 1 Tropical Cyclone Carlos may see an increase in wind velocity with strong winds expected up to 120kms this afternoon and into tonight.



Business operators with free-standing signs positioned in front of businesses along the Stuart Highway at Pinelands are urged to remove these signs in the interest of public safety, to prevent the signs blowing onto roadways and into traffic.



The NT Police and Department of Construction and Infrastructure again urge

motorists to exercise caution if driving through Pinelands. Remain vigilant at all times whilst on our roads. If travel is not essential, stay off the roads.
