Four youths have been arrested after police executed a search warrant on a Gillen residence on Friday and located stolen property from a number of unlawful entries.

The youths, aged 14, 16, 16 and 17, were charged with a range of offences including unlawful entry, stealing, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, assault police, escape lawful custody, drive unlicensed, drive an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle, fail to stop and drive manner dangerous. Two of the youths were in breach of their bail conditions imposed by the court.

The 14 and 16 year olds were remanded in custody and the other two were granted Magistrates bail. All are to appear in the Youth Justice Court on Monday the 21st February 2011.
