NT Police are calling for public assistance after a break and enter with stealing at a Winnellie business early this morning.

It is alleged that a unknown person/s entered the Aussie Snacks business on Winnellie Road sometime between 2:00 am and 4:20 am. Entry was gained through the front door of the business by forcefully opening a locked security screen door and locked glass door.

Once inside, offender/s have removed the safe from the business which contained approximately $7,500.00 in cash.

Inquiries are continuing and police ask that anyone with information should contact them on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
