Drug and Organised Crime Detectives have charged a 28 year-old man with Possess Cannabis (Trafficable), Possess Amphetamine in public place (trafficable) and Possess tainted Property after he was allegedly found in possession of 2.5 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine.

A subsequent search warrant executed at a Leanyer home yesterday allegedly uncovered a further 5 grams of Crystal Meth, 356 grams of Cannabis, Cannabis seeds and a significant amount of cash.

Detective Sergeant Mark Stringer said the man will also be charged with the Possession of a Prohibited Weapon after a taser was also allegedly found during the search.
