Alice Springs Southern Traffic Unit Police were extremely disappointed with a drivers’ attitude this morning when they apprehended a car on Kidman Street at around nine thirty.

Sergeant Conan Robertson said the man recorded a breath test of 0.188%

“It is very concerning that a person was driving in his condition.  It shows a lack of caring for anyone else in the community, any other road user and little regard for the law.”

Sergeant Robertson said the 21 year-old was also driving with a disqualified licence and on his arrest gave a false name to Police.
