Police have released a number of images of art work, valued at around $500,000, which were stolen from a home in Larapinta on Wednesday.
Detective Sergeant Trent Abbott said the release of the images will hopefully lead to the recovery of the stolen pieces.
“Stolen from the Warber Court home between 8am and 5:30pm Wednesday, were around 10 framed paintings and a further 400 unframed paintings,” Detective Sergeant Abbott said.
“Some of the art works were from artists such as Pro Hart, Lorna Fencer, Minnie Pwerl, Kudditji, Barnie Ellage, Helen McCarthy, and Barbara Weir.
“I urge anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area at the time, or who may recognise any of these paintings, to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
