Domestic and Family Violence Unit are continuing to investigate an incident in Durack last night, where it is believed a woman received self inflicted burns.

Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Neil Hayes said at around 8pm the 46-year-old woman was treated at the scene before being conveyed to Royal Darwin Hospital where she remains in a serious but stable condition.

“At this time the incident remains under investigation and Police urge anyone with information relating to the event, to call them on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
