Call for Witnesses - Robbery - Woodroffe

Police are seeking assistance from the public in relation to a robbery which occurred in Woodroffe yesterday afternoon.

Detective Senior Sergeant Peter Kennon from the Serious Crime Squad said four men attended the store, on Baldwin Drive, at around 1:30pm.

“Whilst one of the men remained outside as a look out, the remaining three entered the store,” Detective Senior Sergeant Kennon said.

“The men were confronted by a male staff member when they allegedly attempted to leave the store, armed with six cartons of alcohol.

“It is alleged the men threatened him with violence, prior to leaving the area with around $500 worth of alcohol.”

All four offenders are described to be of Aboriginal appearance, aged between 18-22 years of age and 175-180cm tall.

At the time of the offence the men were wearing the following:

Male one: A light blue t-shirt with a white emblem on the front, black knee length shorts and thongs.

Male two: A grey hooded jacket and dark knee length shorts.

Male three: A black t-shirt with a large red design on the front and light grey or denim shorts.

Police urge anyone who may recognise any of the men, or who may have been in the area between 1pm and 2pm yesterday, to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
