Unlawful Entries Arrests - Elliott

Northern Territory Police have arrested and charged three male youths in relation to a series of unlawful entries at the Elliott Hotel.

Superintendent Craig Barrett said three youths aged 15 allegedly broke into the venue and stole a quantity of alcohol on three separate occasions between 28 February and 3 March.

“Elliott Police and members from the Tennant Creek Investigation Unit were able to make the arrests after reviewing CCTV footage, with the assistance from members of the public and local Night Patrol officers.

“Investigations are ongoing and Police expect to make further arrests in the coming days.”

The three youths have been charged with aggravated unlawful entry with intent to commit an offence and stealing.

They have been bailed to appear in the Elliott Youth Justice Court 22 May.
