Aggravated Assault - Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police are investigating a violent altercation which occurred in Alice Springs overnight.

Shortly after 3am Police were called to a disturbance outside of the 24 Hour Store on Gap Road.

“Police attended the scene and identified that three women had been assaulted.” Said Superintendent Brent Warren.

“Police subsequently arrested two men, aged 24 and 32 in relation to the alleged incident.”

“Both men are currently in Police custody.”

“Investigations are continuing with Police still speaking with victims and witnesses who were involved in this incident.” Said Supt Warren.
