Alice Springs Police have arrested two men aged 26 and 39 for the unlicensed sale of alcohol in Alice Springs.

Detective Senior Sergeant Peter Malley said members from the Southern Investigation Division received information that alcohol was being sold without a license from a residence in Gillen.

“Police executed a search warrant this morning and seized 44 bottles of spirits, 2 bottles of wine and a carton of beer.

“The two men have been charged with sell liquor without a license, they remain in Police custody and are assisting with enquiries.”
