An 18-year-old man will appear in the Darwin Magistrates Court today, charged with gross indecency upon a child under 16 years.

Detective Senior Sergeant Bradley Currie of the Sex Crimes Section said the incident took place at a home in Nakara in December last year.

"Investigations led to the arrest yesterday. The 18-year-old was remanded in custody and is to appear in court today,” Detective Senior Sergeant Currie said.
