A 23-year-old man is to appear in court in August to face charges of property damage following an incident at the local health clinic.

Superintendent Michael White of the Arafura Division said the man attended the Gapuwiyak Clinic at around 1:30pm yesterday in an agitated state.

“It is alleged he then armed himself with a large rock and smashed the windscreens of two clinic vehicles,” Superintendent White said.

“Police attended and arrested the man. He has been charged with property damage and going armed in public.”
