Sexual assault charges Palmerston

Detectives from the Sex Crimes Squad have charged three males in relation to an alleged sexual assault that occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning, June 2nd.

Detective Senior Sergeant Bradley Currie said the males, aged 22, 25 and 28 were refused Police bail and remanded in custody to face the Darwin Magistrates Court this morning.

“All three have been charged with sexual intercourse without consent, deprivation of liberty and aggravated assault.”

Anyone who may have witnessed a disturbance in the adjacent parkland near Maluka Drive and the Rolyat Street intersection around midnight on June 1st  to early on June 2nd  is urged to contact the Police Assistance Line on 131 444 or call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
