Vehicle Rollover - Public Assistance Sought - Alice Springs

Police

Major Crash Detectives in Alice Springs are calling on the public to assist with the investigation of a single vehicle rollover which occurred in the early hours of Sunday, 9 June.

Detective Sergeant Mick Schumacher said a 22-year-old male driver was travelling south along Engoordina Drive, in a white Ford Ranger twin-cab utility, when the rollover occurred.

“It appears the man lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll,” Detective Sergeant Schumacher said.

“A 30-year-old male passenger, believed to have been travelling in the tray of the ute, was ejected and received serious injuries.

“It is believed speed and alcohol may have been contributing factors in the crash.
