Three men will be appearing in court today having been arrested just 10 minutes after an unlawful entry in Darwin City.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer from Strike Force Trident said three men aged 35, 41 and 54, unlawfully entered a licensed premises on Mitchell Street at around 4am yesterday.

“CCTV Operators witnessed the men acting suspiciously in the area and within a short time, Police attended and arrested the alleged offenders,” Detective Senior Sergeant Stringer said.

“It is alleged the men stole four bottles of spirits and were in the process of consuming the alcohol when Police arrived.”

All three were charged with damage property, aggravated enter dwelling with intent and stealing and were bailed to appear in the Darwin Magistrates Court today.
