Members from Strike Force Vega are investigating the unlawful entry and theft of $100,000 worth of artwork at a residence in Larapinta.

Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Leith Phillips said the premises was entered some time between 8:30am and 4:45pm on 2 July.

“Offenders stole up to 30 Aboriginal canvas paintings as well as a Sony Playstation, an Xbox, a Sony video camera and a coin folder with approximately 100 coins.

“I urge anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area between 8:30am and 4:45pm on Tuesday 2 July, or anyone who may have seen these artworks since the incident, to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
