Police have located and arrested a 21-year-old man who escaped Police custody in Hermannsburg.

Senior Sergeant Michael Potts said the man was located at a residence in Sandhill Camp at around 6:40pm yesterday.

“He has been charged with assault a member of the Police Force, escape lawful custody and resist Police in execution of duty,” Senior Sergeant Potts said.

“I would like to thank members of the public for their assistance during the search for this man.”
