Police have released a comfit of a man they would like to speak to in relation to the indecent assault of a 24-year-old woman.

Detective Superintendent Brent Warren said the woman was walking along Kempe Street at around 6:30am on Saturday 14 September when she was indecently assaulted by the alleged offender.

“He is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, between 20-30 years old, medium build, approximately 175cm tall with wavy black hair.

“He was wearing a dark blue t-shirt with white coloured writing, dark blue jeans with a rip on the right knee and skate shoes (possibly Converse or Vans).

“Police urge anyone who may recognise this man or who may have witnessed this incident, to contact them on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
