Police are investigating the alleged indecent assault of a 17-year-old female in Darwin City last night.

Officer in Charge of Darwin Police Station, Senior Sergeant Jody Nobbs said the victim was walking through a car park on the corner of Mitchell and Daly Streets at around 11pm when she was approached by an unknown man and indecently assaulted.

“He is described as Caucasian, between 20-30 years of age, approximately 167cm tall, slightly chubby, short dark hair and had an Australian accent. He was wearing a short sleeve black t-shirt and long black pants.”
