Unlawful Entries - Alice Springs

Police

Police are calling for public assistance in relation to a number of unlawful entries in Alice Springs overnight.

Southern Watch Commander, Acting Senior Sergeant Drew Slape said Police received reports of an unlawful entry in Braitling and Sadadeen and two in Gillen.

“The offenders stole a black Holden Commodore from a residence in Braitling at around 11pm and a red Toyota Starlet and Playstation console with games from a residence in Gillen at around 1am.

“Police recovered the Toyota Starlet at the end of Dalgety Road earlier today after it had been set alight, destroying the vehicle.

“While Police haven’t established a link between the offending, it is considered likely these offences were committed by the same people and investigations are continuing.”

Police urge anyone who may have witnessed these incidents or who may have any information to contact them on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
