Police are calling for witnesses in relation to an incident in which a dentist vehicle was significantly damaged in Mutitjulu.

Senior Sergeant Michael Potts of the Central Desert Division said the vehicle, which was parked at the front the health clinic, was damaged some time between 6pm Wednesday and 7:30am Thursday.

“It appears offender/s used large rocks and sticks to smash the front windscreen, both side mirrors, both headlights and a side window causing approximately $7,000 worth of damage,” Senior Sergeant Potts said.

“Police urge anyone who may have information relating to the incident to contact them on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

“This type of destructive behaviour simply will not be tolerated by Police and we will do our utmost to find those responsible.”
