A 28 year-old man has died from injuries sustained in a serious motorcycle crash in Nhulunbuy on 14 October, 2013.

Senior Sergeant Brendan Muldoon said the man passed away yesterday.

“Obviously this is a very distressing time for relatives and friends and our thoughts are with them at this time.”

The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are still being investigated and a file is being prepared for the coroner.

The death takes the road toll to 32 compared to 40 at the same time last year.
