Robbery - Palmerston

Police

Strike Force Trident Detectives are investigating a robbery which occurred late last night in Palmerston City.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer said at around 11:15pm a 31-year-old man withdrew a quantity of cash from an ATM on The Boulevard and returned to his vehicle when he was approached by three men of Aboriginal appearance.

“It is alleged one of the men threatened the victim with a knife and demanded money,” Detective Senior Sergeant Stringer said.

“The man handed over the cash and all three males then fled towards the Palmerston Bus Exchange.

“The victim contacted Police who attended the area, however were unable to locate the three men, who are believed to be aged between 18 and 20.”

The first offender is described to be approximately 175cm tall, medium build with short black hair. At the time he was wearing a bright yellow work shirt, long black pants and had a dark t-shirt wrapped around his face.

The second offender is described to be 165-170cm tall, clean shaven, short dark bushy hair, slim build and was wearing a pink t-shirt.

The third of the males is described to be approximately 165-170cm tall, medium build, clean shaven and was last seen wearing a dark baseball cap with a lighter coloured brim. He also wore a dark t-shirt and dark pants.
