A 37-year-old man has been charged with indecent exposure following an incident in Alice Springs yesterday.

Detective Senior Sergeant Peter Malley from the Southern Investigations Division said around 12:30pm the man allegedly exposed himself at a location on the corner of Leichhardt and Gregory Terraces.

“Witnesses contacted Police and he was arrested nearby a short time later,” Detective Senior Sergeant Malley said.

The alleged offender has been charged with indecent behaviour and exposing a child to an indecent act and remanded to appear today.
