A 37-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of a 69-year-old man in Katherine yesterday.

“The 37-year-old man was taken into Police custody at the scene, almost immediately after it occurred.  He has now been charged with murder and remanded in custody to appear in the Katherine Magistrates Court tomorrow.”
