Detectives from the Serious Crime Squad have charged a 21-year-old man in relation to an alleged drive-by shooting incident that occurred in Bakewell on 24 August, 2013.

Detective Sergeant Kerry Harris said the man was arrested yesterday.

“He has been charged with a total of five offences including recklessly endangering serious harm and four separate firearm offences.”

The man has been granted conditional bail to appear in Darwin Magistrates Court on 9 January, 2014.

A 22-year-old alleged co-offender is currently remanded in custody in relation to this and other non-related charges.
