A woman is currently in Police custody following the death of a 53-year-old man in Katherine today.

The incident occurred at around 2:30am this morning.

It is believed to be as a result of a domestic altercation.

A crime scene has been established and Major Crime Detectives are assisting local Detectives with the investigation.
