Detectives from Strike Force Trident are investigating an unlawful entry that occurred at Sanderson Middle School over the new year.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer said the incident occurred between 7pm 31 December and 9am 1 January.

“The unknown offenders have smashed a glass door panel and window and expelled a number of fire extinguishers in classrooms, causing around $3,000 worth of damage.

“At this stage it does not appear anything has been stolen.”
