Assault - Public Assistance Sought - Darwin City

Serious Crime Squad Detectives are seeking public assistance in relation to an assault of a man in Darwin City early on Christmas morning.

Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Kerry Harris said the 27-year-old man was walking along Knuckey Street with friends when he was approached by a group of males at around 1:50am.

“The males were approached by a group of young men and one male was assaulted causing serious harm.

“Northern Territory Police request public assistance to locate two males who may assist Police with their enquiries.

The first man is described as Caucasian, mid 20’s, approx 180cm, medium build.  He was wearing a black T-shirt, shorts and a black hat with white logo.

“The second man is described as Caucasian appearance, mid 20’s, approx 175cm tall, thin build and short dark hair.  He was wearing a white T-shirt, shorts and white shoes.
