Detectives from Strike Force Trident have charged a 39-year-old woman in relation to an alleged stealing incident in Coconut Grove.

Detective Sergeant Mark Bland said the offender allegedly entered the residence and posed as a health care worker on Sunday 19 January.

“The woman allegedly stole a small quantity of money from a 78-year-old man and fled the scene.

“Police allege the woman also allegedly stole a purse from a 61-year-old woman on Mitchell Street on Saturday 18 January.”

Police arrested the woman in Gray yesterday and charged her with:

Aggravated enter dwelling with intent

Robbery

Stealing.

She will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court today.
