Police are calling on assistance from the public in relation to an unlawful entry at a business in Winnellie.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer said the business on Benison Road was unlawfully entered at around 3am Tuesday morning.

“It appears offender/s smashed their way in through a glass door and stole approximately $10,000 worth of assorted tools,” Detective Senior Sergeant Stringer said.

“We believe these people may use the stolen property to assist in further unlawful entries.

“Police urge anyone who may recognise either of these people, or anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area, to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
