Sexual Assault - Public Assistance Sought - Stuart Park

Police are seeking public assistance in relation to a number of unlawful entries and an alleged sexual assault that occurred in Stuart Park.

Detective Superintendent James O’Brien from the Sex Crimes Division said the alleged offender unlawfully entered several residences between Monday 17 and Saturday 22 of February between the hours of 10pm and 3am.

“The offender also allegedly sexually assaulted a female occupant of one of these residences on Saturday, 22 February at around 2am.

“The offender is described as male, Aboriginal appearance, medium build, in his late 20’s early 30’s and had short hair. He was wearing board shorts and a shirt.

Police urge anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the Stuart Park area last week, or anyone with information to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
