Indecent Exposure Palmerston

Police

Police are calling on public assistance following an indecent exposure in Palmerston yesterday.

Superintendent Daniel Shean of the Palmerston Rural Division said at around 5:30pm Police received reports of a man exposing himself at a bus stop on Kafcaloudes Crescent in Moulden.

“It was reported that the man parked his vehicle near the bus stop and indecently expose...d himself to two nearby children,” Superintendent Shean said.

“The children immediately ran and reported the incident to their parents, who in turn contacted Police.

The man is described to be of Caucasian appearance, thin build, approximately 170cm tall, short brown hair and at the time, he was clean shaven. The man was said to be wearing a white ‘Bintang’ singlet, black knee length shorts and black thongs.

The man’s vehicle is described to be a dark coloured sedan with silver rims and flaky paint.

“I commend the children for alerting their parents straight away. This again highlights the importance of teaching your children how to deal with this type of behaviour,” Superintendent Shean said.
