A second Police Officer has been suspended from duty for breaches of discipline pursuant to Section 79 of the Police Administration Act.

The 20 year old Probationary Constable was served with a Notice to Appear last night and is charged with making a false Statutory Declaration. This matter relates to the single vehicle roll over in Alice Springs that occurred early Friday morning.

The officer will appear before the Alice Springs Magistrates Court on 16 May 2014.

No further information will be released as this matter is currently before Court.
