Northern Territory Police have today charged a Police Officer with a traffic related offence.

The 36-year-old Officer was off duty at the time of the incident and has been charged with fail to provide breath for analysis. 

The Officer has been suspended from duty and will face court at a later date.

As this matter is currently before court, no further information will be released.
