A 32-year-old man will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court today after he allegedly stole a large quantity of jewellery from a number of residences in Darwin.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Bland said Police executed a search warrant at a residence in Ludmilla on Thursday and located and seized around $20,000 worth of jewellery.
“Police allege the offender unlawfully entered and a number of residences across Fannie Bay, Parap and Wanguri and also stole fishing equipment, game consoles and clothing.”
The man was arrested and charged with:
Unlawful entry - dwelling (x3)
Stealing (x4)
Damage to property (x2)
Obtain benefit by deception (x10)
Trespass.
He was remanded in custody to appear in Darwin Magistrates Court today.
