Call for Witnesses - Double Assault - Darwin City

Police are seeking public assistance in relation to two assaults that occurred in Darwin City.

Senior Constable Michael Deutrom said the female offender was involved in two separate assaults in the early hours of Saturday, 14 June

“Police allege the offender assaulted a 23-year-old woman and stole her handbag at a venue opposite the Mitchell Centre at around 1:50am.

“The offender then assaulted a 26-year-old female while she was sitting inside a Pedi Cab on Mitchel Street a short time later.

“The alleged offender is described as of aboriginal appearance, around 20-years-of age, approximately 150cm tall, she was wearing a white one shoulder dress”.

Police urge anyone who may have witnessed these incidents or anyone who may recognise this person, to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
