Strike Force Trident Detectives have charged a 19-year-old man with 18 property offences following a crime spree in Darwin.
Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Mark Bland said the alleged offender attended a unit complex in The Gardens and broke into six vehicles on 22 May.
“Police allege the man also stole two push bikes and an iPad and caused around $3,000 worth of damage to the vehicles.”
He was arrested yesterday and charged with:
Trespass (x7)
Damage to property (x6)
Stealing (x5)
He will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court on 31 July.
