Serious Crime Squad Detectives have today arrested a 37-year-old man in relation to an aggravated assault in Howard Springs that occurred on 6 August.

Senior Constable Emily Scott said it is alleged that the man deliberately destroyed evidence relating to the assault.

The man has been charged with being an accessory after the fact in relation to the offending and has been bailed to appear in Darwin Magistrates Court on 16 September 2014.
